Our Wellness Program

A RECURRING VISIT BY ONE OF OUR PRACTITIONERS EVERY WEEK OR EVERY OTHER WEEK

Our Service:

We provide an on-going program to give you an opportunity to experience the cumulative effectiveness of improved circulation, through chair massage, exercise instruction, and ergonomic coaching.

Our goal:

To provide you with a renewed sense of health and wellbeing at your workplace.

The Chair Massage

A 10 or 15 minute acupressure-style, upper-body, seated massage sequence delivered through clothing, in a specially designed chair. The sequence covers the back, neck, shoulders, arms, hands, and scalp. It is comfortable, and will leave you relaxed AND rejuvenated.

Why massage? Massage moves oxygenated blood to your muscles, causing them to relax. As a result, not only do you feel better, but you become more conscious of how you feel. This mind-body connection creates the first step toward taking better care of yourself.

The Exercises

You will learn upper body exercises that are designed to promote circulation in your back, arms, neck, and shoulders, and can be done in 30 seconds at any work station. We provide you with exercise cards describing each exercise.

Why exercises? The human body is designed for movement. When you are still, circulation slows down, and very little blood flows through your muscles, making your body become prone to injury. When you move (or stretch) regularly, muscles receive adequate amount of oxygen and stop contracting, and you feel more comfortable.

Ergonomic Coaching

Proper ergonomics are of prime importance.

And, don’t forget:
TAKE A BREAK EVERY HOUR TO STAND UP, TAKE YOUR EYES OFF THE MONITOR, AND STRETCH!

We provide interested customers with information about proper body mechanics. This can be done with a couple of minutes of consultation at the end of your massage session. Our coaching is designed to help you pay attention, work safely and prevent work-related injury, regardless of the current set-up of your workstation.

Why ergonomic coaching? While focused on work, it is easy to neglect proper body mechanics. Sometimes, all it takes is paying attention to the bad habits that created the discomfort or chronic pain in the first place. Tips and reminders are a powerful tool in preventing injury.

Our Guarantee:

If you donʼt feel better after the massage, weʼll refund your money.

YES, YOU CAN FEEL BETTER, EVEN IF YOU FEEL GOOD ALREADY!

Sitting for long periods of time and performing highly skilled tasks is a physically demanding feat. When muscles arenʼt moving, they donʼt receive a steady supply of oxygenated blood. The results are 1) you donʼt notice there is build-up of tension in your muscles, leading to 2) discomfort and pain, and debilitating problems.

You donʼt have to be in pain to benefit from a massage. Feel the difference circulation makes!
